Fascinating Feet

Okay, so first off, I have to start with my most favorite picture of my little jumper... passed out in the jumparoo. Funnier yet, when I tried to pull him out to put him in his crib, he looked up at me, grinned and started jumping again. I put him in the crib anyway.
Around the Caldwell house lately, there has been a preoccupation with little feet. They're fun to touch and hold (and tickle). The next few photos are from our recent trip to Arizona, where we took Josiah on his first swim.

Despite the shocked expression on his face, he really did enjoy it. The first swim was quite fun to watch him splash and giggle and kick.

We've been pretty busy around here lately, with a 4 1/2 month old, me back at work and Seth working part-time. We are managing to have quite a bit of fun this summer though. I tried to include more pictures this time since I haven't been as good lately at posting regularly. As you can see, the little toesies are even just right for putting into the mouth!

In Arizona I had a conference for work, and while I got my CE credits, Seth and Josiah went from nap-time to pool-time to soccer-time (world cup time) seamlessly. I had a little time for fun in the sun too. And we went out to dinner a couple nights also.

The sunshine and heat took a little getting used to (since our area has had few days of warm sunshine up until now). We took many precautions, and the ritual of protecting the fair skin Josiah has inherited from me began. I got to give him a new stylish hair-do each time! Here, our little movie star auditions for a role in Powder after applying the 50 spf!

The first plane ride went well, even though I was awfully nervous about it. Seth did great. And so did Josiah.

Below, a few snapshots from around home. Seth and I went out for dinner on my birthday, we celebrated Luke (Seth's brother) and Liz's graduation from the UW and Josiah chills out.

Thanks for catching up! More updates to come!
